"Nothing is really that serious" by Ceyda

Our time together was short But it felt like a lifetime The fog is coming Though I am a complainer I think of myself as a gracious person The fog is coming I still can value our incredible friendship I'll never forget when I left you in the forest; Humans are gonna human The fog is coming Life goes by too quickly to focus on the stupid stuff like social norms The fog is coming, the fog is coming, the fog is coming About this poem: This poem follows the mindset of an extremely shallow and arrogant person and I think it really goes into the psyche of such a human being. It shows how their actions may harm others and how despite this such people have the audacity to shift the blame on their victim. The breaking up of lines by ‘the fog is coming’ was mostly done because I thought it was humorous but it could also be interpreted as a fog enveloping the speaker’s common sense to the point that they believe the delusions that are being uttered throughout the poem.

"Everything" by Ms. Arnold and Harrison

Everything everything changes. Nothing ever stays the same. I remember our conversation, it was a rare tranquility; Our incredible friendship Just three years old. I already knew what my heart wanted. It's a poignant reminder how our childhood starts to fade away. I am a complainer with a background of grass. a paper chain with bright colors that faded in the sun. Thanks for nothing. Everything everything changes, Nothing ever stays the same. About this poem:  Here is our   poem . It is a look at the progression of a friendship through memory and nostalgia.
